Brigadeiro–Brazilian Traditional Dessert

My prayer is that family members, friends, and even strangers will find not only sage harbor around your table, but also the attributes of Christ Himself.

Chocolate Ingredients

  • 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 3 tablespoons powdered cocoa
  • 2 tablespoons butter, unsalted
  • Chocolate sprinkles for rolling

Directions

  1. Combine sweetened condensed milk, cocoa and butter in a saucepan; bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and cook, stirring constantly, until brigadeiro mixture thickens and pulls away from the bottom and sides when the pan is tilted, 10-15 minutes.
  2. Remove from heat and let brigadeiro mixture cool to room temperature, about 1 hour.
  3. Scoop teaspoonfuls of the brigadeiro mixture and roll into balls with greased hands.
  4. Spread chocolate sprinkles on a shallow plate. Dip and roll brigadeiros in sprinkles.
